All or nothing on conceal and carry

The current system for conceal and carry in Illinois is a joke. Any establishment just has to post a "no guns" sign in the window and it overrides my conceal and carry rights.

While I may obey the law and their stupid sign, what expectation do I have that everyone else is in compliance? The very reason that I support conceal and carry is for personal protection from someone who is breaking the law and threatening my life.

If any establishment wishes to post the "no guns" sign at the door - and this includes - churches and taverns - the current law needs to be amended to require the establishment to have security personnel available to search each and every person as they enter, and have a metal detection device for the patrons to walk through.

This is what is done at federal buildings, court houses - and airports.

As we have seen many times in the news, the lack of conceal and carry provides "soft targets" for anyone who wishes to slaughter innocent people. If we are going to have conceal and carry in Illinois, it should be all or nothing.
