Sweet Success for Suhanee

After a busy weekend of winnings at the National American Miss Pageant in St. Charles, State Finalist, 12 year old Suhanee Patel returns home to Lake Zurich representing her home town and Desi Heritage. Suhanee is always working on something to advance her interest in Cosmetic Chemistry and helping the community. These unique interests helped Suhanee earn several awards at the pageant on August 1st. Having used her public speaking skills and business knowledge to sell ad spaces totaling the highest amount, Suhanee is the State Cover Girl for Illinois 2015-2016. Also, holding the first place spot for Spokesmodel Speech, 'Glitter for the Golden' she showed judges her passion for community project. After being rejected by a prominent local Desi Artist Company, she didn't give up her dream. "Mom, if this company doesn't see the value in my project, then I can market it on my own just you wait and see." At Nationals, this passion driven teen will represent talent and heritage through Bollywood/Bhangra dance as well.
