All lanes on Route 14 reopened after Cary accident

Route 14 in Cary has fully reopened after an accident that occurred Sunday afternoon restricted traffic to one lane, officials said.

Lanes were closed on westbound Route 14 between Sands Road and Three Oaks Road, the McHenry County Sheriff's Office said in an advisory sent out shortly after 1 p.m.

The accident is under investigation and no additional information was available Sunday, the sheriff's office said.
