Empire slated for fall

Work continues on Empire in downtown Naperville — a new concept by Ballydoyle owner Phil Cullen. Located in the former Rosebud Restaurant site, the building, ravaged by fire in 2010, is undergoing a massive reconstruction — including a retractable roof in one area. Cullen, who also owns Ballydoyle locations in Bloomingdale and Aurora, expects to open the Naperville location in fall. Ballydoyle Naperville will be at 48 W. Chicago Ave., Naperville.
