An early Christmas in Streamwood
It was too warm for snow Saturday, but nonetheless, it was "Christmas in July" at the parade that's part of the three-day Streamwood Summer Celebration.
The festival, featuring carnival rides, entertainment, food, a business expo, bingo and main stage bands runs through Sunday, July 26. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the event in Hoosier Park, 700 W. Irving Park Road.
Festival hours are noon to 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Complete festival information is at streamwoodsummercelebration.org.
