National League pitcher is Dock Ellis of the Pittsburgh Pirates and catcher is Johnny Bench. Jackson's jolt started an American league comeback after Bench's second inning homer got the National League on the scoreboard. The Amercan League won the game 6-4, with two run homers by Jackson, Frank Robinson, and Harmon Killebrew.
