New art exhibit at Brushwood

The opening reception for "Earthlings," the artwork of Margie Glass Sula, is set for 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at the Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods, 21850 N. Riverwoods Road, Riverwoods. The exhibit is a collection of interpretations of common plant and animal forms inviting curiosity and contemplation about the natural world and its inhabitants. The event is free and registration is not required. The exhibition runs from June 28 to Aug. 9. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 1 to 3 p.m. Sundays or by appointment.
