Celebrate Atcher Island's 10th birthday at the annual Summer Picnic, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust

Join the Schaumburg Park District in singing Happy Birthday to Atcher Island at the first Summer Picnic of the year.

The District's annual Summer Picnic, sponsored by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, will bring summertime fun 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., July 17 at Atcher Island & Park, 730 S. Springinsguth Road. This year will feature unlimited use of a moon-bounce inflatable, carnival games, barbecue, face painting and music.

"There's nothing more American than a good old fashioned summer barbecue," said Heather Hagstrom, aquatics supervisor. "Residents who come to Atcher will enjoy good food, great entertainment and even better company."

Participants also will enjoy swimming and eating cake to celebrate 10 splashtastic years of family fun at Atcher Island.

Admission is $5 per person and includes all activities, a hot dog or brat, chips and a drink.
