Fox Lake's Cardboard Boat Cup Regatta
Boat races have made the Chain O'Lakes famous, and now, Fox Lake is pleased to provide their own! For $30.00, participants receive a boat building kit to enter the regatta as a competitor. Kits will be available at the Village Hall beginning July 1 for off-site boat building. Registration and on-site building begins at 8am on August 16th. Both on and off-site building include the following five categories.
- Ages 10 and under
- Ages 11-14
- Ages 15-20
- Ages 21 and older
- Business entries
Life preservers aren't provided but are mandatory. This is an event for the whole family, with food, games, shop vendors, and a DJ.
