Blackhawks rally late for 2-1 win in Game 1
TAMPA, Fla. – The Blackhawks got 2 goals in just under two minutes late in the third period and stole Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final with a 2-1 victory Wednesday at Amalie Arena.
Teuvo Teravainen scored with 6:32 left in the game, then poked the puck to Antoine Vermette moments later and the veteran center whipped it past Ben Bishop for the game-winner.
Game 2 is here Saturday night in a 6:15 p.m. start.
Alex Killorn scored for Tampa Bay just 4:31 into the game on a on flat-out, amazing redirect that Corey Crawford had no chance at stopping.
