Annual Timbercrest-Woods garage sale is this weekend

For 46 years the Timbercrest-Woods subdivision in Schaumburg has hosted a massive garage sale the first full weekend in June, which this year is Friday-Sunday, June 5-7.

Between 100-160 households in a single area will have household goods, sporting goods, tools, collectibles, electronics and more for sale, all within walking distance of each other.

Look for antiques, figurines, glass, cameras and jewelry. Big-ticket items like cars, vans, boats, RVs and motorcycles are common.

Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. Find a preview map and directory at www.TimbercrestWoods.com, along with the Shopper's Guide - giving you a list of participating homes and special items for sale - plus tips for making the most out of your day.

Admission is free. Look for the signs south and west of Roselle Road/Schaumburg Road.
