Fun & Fit Family Day to benefit Lambs Farm
Join Lambs Farm for the Fun & Fit Family Day 5K Run/2 Mile Walk from 9 a.m. to noon June 27 to benefit Lambs Farm's Wellness Center for adults with developmental disabilities.
Registration is $25 per person or $100 per family up to five members. After June 5, the fee is $30 per person, $120 per family.
The run/walk will begin at 9 a.m. at Lambs Farm and proceed around the Old School Forest Preserve in Libertyville. After the race until noon, there will also be sponsor and vendor booths to browse, food available from Chick-fil-A and Einstein Bros. Bagels, music from EDTV Media Creations, a kid's dash and other fun activities for the whole family.
Each runner/walker will receive a medal, a gift bag with Lambs Farm products and discounted admission to the farmyard. An event T-shirt will also be given to those who register before June 5.
This race will not include awards or age categories as this is a fun run and is not chip timed or a certified course.
