Dining events: Rack House serves up $10 Moo burgers through Sunday

Rack House's BBQ month

Rack House closes out national barbecue month with a deal. Now through Sunday, get their signature Moo & Oink and Moo & Moo Burger, each a half-pound burger glazed with the restaurant's signature whiskey barbecue sauce and piled with juicy pulled pork or chopped brisket, respectively, for $10. RA Sushi's Nicky's week

Through Sunday, order certain items off RA Sushi's menu and 100 percent of the proceeds go to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in honor of Nicky's Week, an annual fundraiser to support children's cancer research. Those menu items are: Edamame, Tootsy Maki, Shrimp Nigiri, Pork Gyoza, Sesame Garlic Chicken, Garlic Citrus Yellowtail, plus a variety of select beverages. Kinfork coming to Woodfield

A new restaurant is coming to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. Kinfolk, a 13,000-square-foot space with seating for 450, will open this fall on the mall's lower level near JCPenney. Playing off the word "kinfolk," Kinfolk will feature reclaimed wood floors and tables while embracing a rustic and warm vibe, says owner Luke Johnson and executive chef Nestor Soto.
