Girls volleyball: St. Charles North wins Saxon Invitational

The St. Charles North girls volleyball team won the Schaumburg Saxon Invite on Saturday, beating Schaumburg in the semifinals 25-12, 25-9, and Cary-Grove in the championship, 25-19, 25-23.

Abby Graham led the way, totaling 35 kills, 8 aces, and 25 digs. Gigi Crescenzo had 26 kills, 15 digs, and Katie Lanz added 15 kills, 8 aces, and 7 digs. Hallie Wohlert led the offense with 28 assists, while Lauren Caprini led the defense with 14 aces and 27 digs.

The North Stars play St. Charles East on Tuesday.
