Schaumburg Golf Club offers fairways, food and fun through new programs

Tee it up at the Schaumburg Golf Club during Family Nights and 9 & Dine.

Every Sunday, beginning May 17 from 5 to 6 p.m. families may enjoy a 9-hole walking round for $10 per person. A golf professional will be your welcoming ambassador on the course, monitoring pace of play and providing instructional tips. Forward tees will be placed on the fairway, making the golf course enjoyable for golfers of all abilities.

"The family golf nights will give parents the opportunity to play golf with their children," said Jonathan Parsons, general manager of golf operations. "One of our golf professionals will be on the course to work with families by providing tips, suggestions and answering questions."

After golf, enjoy special pricing for a delicious chicken dinner ($9 per person) or a delectable burger dinner ($7 per person) at Chandler's. Meals include one soft drink (gratuity not included). Present your golf receipt to receive this special discount (discount only available on the day of play).

Family groups are limited to four players and must include one junior golfer under the age of 18 years old.

9 & Dine, SGC's new 9-hole outings, will feature golf, contests and prizes. After the round visit Chandler's, one of the premier restaurants in the Northwest Suburbs, and enjoy a delicious dinner and cocktails in the lovely atrium room overlooking the golf course.

"9 & Dine is a fun way for golfers to kick off the weekend," Parsons said. "It will be a relaxing evening of golf and food with a little competition thrown in."

Cost of 9 & Dine is $30 per player and includes green fee, cart, a range token and a $12 voucher in Chandler's (not valid any other night).
