Man in custody for shooting gun on Megabus

A man is in police custody after firing a gun on a Megabus near the Des Plaines oasis late Tuesday night, authorities said yesterday. Illinois State Police said 50 people were riding the Megabus from Union Station in Chicago to Minneapolis when the gun was fired in the bathroom about 11:30 p.m. Full story

Man seriously hurt in crash near St. Charles

Mundelein's Hawley Lake Plaza could be headed for redevelopment

Mundelein officials have struck a tax-sharing deal that could lead to the redevelopment of one of the town's biggest commercial eyesores.
