Red Stars blank Breakers 3-0

With both teams missing nearly all of their World Cup players, the Chicago Red Stars earned a 3-0 win over the Boston Breakers at Toyota Park in Bridgeview on Sunday behind the heroics by several rookies and newcomers,

Sofia Huerta lead the way with a goal and an assist, Cara Walls scored her first professional goal and Arin Gilliland recorded her first assist. Goalkeeper Michele Dalton earned her first shutout in her NWSL debut.
