Schaumburg, Germany to visit Schaumburg, USA

The village of Schaumburg will welcome German visitors from the county of Schaumburg, Germany from May 12 through May 21 as part of the village's Sister Cities program. Visitors will include the mayor and village manager of Auetal, the county forester, the manager of a public health insurance company, the controller of the village of Rintein and the chair of the Schaumburg German-American Society. While in town, the visitors will tour various village departments, plus see the Schaumburg community, St. Peter Lutheran Church and School, Spring Valley Nature Center, Trickster Art Gallery and the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center which houses the Friendship Stone from Schaumburg, Germany.
