Fremd earned a victory in Naperville Invitational play on Saturday, topping Lincoln-Way Central 2-0 in girls soccer action at Naperville North.
Danielle Money scored with an assist from Caroline Freeman, and Katie Zara tallied with a helper from Kellie Halloran.
In Thursday's games hosted by Fremd, Downers Grove South will meet Conant at 5 p.m., followed by Fremd against Evanston at 7 p.m.
• In Saturday's games at Barrington, St. Viator and Evanston tied 0-0, with St. Viator getting credit in penalty kicks 4-2. In the other game at Barrington, New Trier blanked Rockford Boyland 4-0.
Thursday's games at Barrington will feature Palatine vs. Rockford Boylan at 5 p.m. and Barrington vs. Naperville Central at 7 p.m.
St. Viator will travel to Geneva for a 5 p.m. game against the Vikings.
Hoffman Estates 3, Whitney Young 0: Molly Salerno, Sharon Lopez, and Michele Montes De Oca scored goals to help the Hawks to a nonconference victory as Francesca Van earned a second straight shutout.
Prospect Invite: The Knights topped Normal University 2-1 in their morning to contest to earn a spot the championship against Lake Zurich, which claimed a 6-1 victory.
Against Normal, Martina Kowalczuk scored both goals and was assisted both times by Aly Kobler as Natalie Tuczak tended the goal.
Normal shut out Champaign Central 4-0 in the third-place game.
