Mt. Prospect Irish fest April 28

St. Patrick's Day has come and gone, but it's never a bad time to celebrate all things Celtic. Mount Prospect kicks off its spring fest season with Irish Fest, 1-11 p.m. Saturday in downtown Mount Prospect, around Emerson Street and Busse Avenue.

Sponsored by the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce, enjoy Irish food, beverages and goods while celebrating Irish heritage through live music.

The live entertainment includes the Tully Irish Dancers, Sullivan Irish Dancers, Trinity Irish Dancers, The Dooley Brothers, They Might Be Irish, and The Larkin and Moran Brothers.
