Thanks for effort on property taxes

Hats off to Cook County Commissioner Tim Schneider and a few of his colleagues for proposing that Cook County not raise property taxes. I already pay WAY too much for a government that is notorious for wast-ing taxpayer dollars. It's not surprising since the board is dominated by Chicago Democrats. I'm glad to see someone saying that we should cut their budget instead of looking to suburban residents for a bailout.
