Believe Project: $100 for diapers for low-income families

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Linda Baker of Arlington Heights.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

"I would give the $100 to the "Breakfast with Baby" ministry at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mount Prospect. This new outreach program serves low-income families with infants and children up to 2 years old who need diapers. Did you know that disposable diapers aren't available from family assistance programs and not allowed to be purchased with SNAP food stamps? The monthly program at St. Paul will provide families with diapers, gently used baby clothes and other baby supplies, as well as a hot breakfast, encouragement from the Bible and conversations with caring volunteers."

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
