Schaumburg Park District hosts playscape construction meeting

Join the Schaumburg Park District to learn about the brand new natural playscape being constructed this year.

The Schaumburg Park District's information meeting will be held 6 to 8 p.m., April 14 at the Spring Valley Nature Center, 1111 E. Schaumburg Road. The natural playscape, which provides children the opportunity to interact and discover their environment, is planned for construction this year directly west of the parking lot at the Nature Center.

This unique playground will give an outside experience where children are encouraged to look, touch, listen and have fun while using their imaginations to discover the textures, smells and wonders of the outdoors.

Construction is planned to begin this fall.
