Community Spelling Bee

Why? For the spell of it. Spelling bees have taken on a whole new life as participants of all ages have embraced showcasing their spelling skills beyond traditional elementary school bees! Join the Deerfield community in following this trend and sign up now to show off your spelling skills at the Senior Adult Spelling Bee held at 10:00 a.m. on May 15 at the Patty Turner Center. The winner may choose to advance to Regional and State Finals.

Hosted by the Deerfield Public Library and the Patty Turner Center and sponsored by Brandel Health and Rehab, spellers age 50+ can enter by picking up a registration packet at the Deerfield Public Library or call 847-580-8933. The Bee is limited to 15 contestants and the registration deadline is April 15, so sign up now!
