Employees of Mueller CPA and its Business & Financial Advisors unit are celebrating their sponsorship of the Kane County Cougars in 2015 with a novel fundraising event.

Together with Kane County Cougar mascot, Ozzie, employees are raising funds for Ozzie's Outreach Foundation with a baseball-themed event to raise funds for the foundation, which supports a number of worthy charities in Kane County.

The Mueller firm, which traditionally provides employees with a snack cart during tax season, is customizing the cart with hot dogs, popcorn, beer and other baseball favorites as part of the fundraising event.

To support the foundation, employees who wish to wear jeans to the office can contribute $5 to support Ozzie's local charities. Employees can also sport their favorite baseball team uniforms as part of the fundraising effort. The firm employs more than 100 people, all Cougars fans.

Dave Nissen, managing partner of Mueller, said the firm is extremely pleased to support Ozzie's Outreach Foundation and its charitable endeavors.

"We're delighted to help support Ozzie's charitable endeavors in Kane County in our own special way. Many of our employees and their families live in Kane County and are huge fans and supporters of the Cougars. So we get to help Ozzie work his magic in the community and have some good family fun at the ballpark park to boot," he said.
