Wauconda tree and shrub sale

The Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce, the village of Wauconda, Acres Group, Inc. and Homer Tree Care, Inc. will host the 10th annual Arbor Day Tree & Shrub Sale on May 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Acres Group, 610 W. Liberty St., Wauconda. The event features a pancake breakfast, kids moonwalk, petting zoo and a visit from the local pet rescue mission. There's also an Arbor Day poster contest that is open to local elementary students. Information will be distributed directly to area schools.
