St. Charles church offers family-friendly Good Friday Stations of the Cross

Most Good Friday church services are not meant for children, or children are meant to stay quiet and still. But not at St. Charles Episcopal Church, where people of all ages can walk the path Jesus did in an Intergenerational Stations of the Cross on Friday, April 3, at 11 a.m.

Participants will walk through the upper and lower levels of the church and outside in the gardens, stopping at crosses all over the building where they will take turns reading the meditations and prayers for the stations.

The simple language of the readings belies the deep truths that Christians believe are contained in the words they will hear and speak.

All are welcome.

St. Charles Episcopal Church is located at 994 N. Fifth Ave. (Route 25) in St. Charles. It offers three Sunday morning services. The building is wheelchair-accessible. For more information, call (630) 584-2596, or visit www.stcharlesepiscopal.org. Follow the church on Facebook.
