Party not supporting library candidates

I write in response to Robert J. Frankel's March 6 letter to the editor regarding the April 7 election for Schaumburg library trustees. Mr. Frankel's letter is riddled with inaccuracies.

Let's be clear about Mr. Frankel's agenda: There are open seats on the Schaumburg library board, and for one of them, Mr. Frankel, a staunch Democrat, is supporting a non-incumbent candidate who is also a staunch Democrat.

Mr. Frankel is entitled to support whomever he wants, but he is not entitled to distort facts. The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization has not and will not make endorsements in the April 7 consolidated elections. Yet, I do have my personal preferences among the library board candidates, and I welcome the opportunity to share them here: Jillian Rose Bernas, Theresa "Terry" Seyring, and Julie Wroblewski Bosshart.

Irrespective of party affiliation, each of these women is supremely qualified for the position of library trustee.

Each of these candidates has a unique skill set and will contribute to a library board that is greater than the sum of its parts.

I hope you will join me in supporting them on April 7.
