AP Source: Giants agree to terms with CB Chykie Brown

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - Cornerback Chykie Brown is returning to the New York Giants.

A person with knowledge of the move who requested anonymity because the Giants had not announced it confirmed the agreement Friday. Contract terms were not immediately available.

Brown, entering his fifth NFL season, played eight games with the Giants after being awarded on waivers from Baltimore. The 28-year-old started four games and finished with 31 tackles and two passes defended.

New York has now re-signed four players from last year's team who were free agents: Brown, linebacker Mark Herzlich, and running backs Henry Hynoski and Chris Ogbonnaya. They have also signed five free agents from other teams: running back Shane Vereen; linebackers Jonathan Casillas and J.T. Thomas; return man/receiver Dwayne Harris; and offensive tackle Mitchell Newhouse.
