'Mary Poppins' lands at Benet for two weekends
Benet Academy's production of "Mary Poppins" will take center stage over the next two weekends at the Lisle school and even the practically perfect nanny would be particularly proud because the preponderance of performances already are sold out.
The musical, directed by Brian Wand and Lauren Condon and based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the Walt Disney film, opens Thursday in the St. Daniel Hall auditorium on the Benet campus at 2200 Maple Ave. Tickets are $15.
Performances are slated for 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, March 12-14 and 19-21 and at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 14-15.
For details, call (630) 969-6550 or visit benet.org.
