Why no outrage for Boko Haram?

I have two items I wish to comment on.

First, for a while now I have wanted to comment on the coverage by all of the media of the march in Paris in outrage for the terrorist activities there. The world was outraged that we did not send a prominent person to march with the leaders of France, Germany, etc.

That was a terrible event demanding outrage, but it was for the deaths of a few people. Why have the world leaders not linked arms and marched to protest the atrocities that Boko Haram has perpetrated on the African countries? Why have the world leaders not joined to fight Boko Haram and Isis? Could it be that the victims of those atrocities are people of color?

Second, I totally agree with Patricia Stimpson of Wood Dale using the lottery winner's past record as a subhead for a "hot" story was totally inappropriate. He has paid his debt to society - leave him alone. You should be ashamed. I am a fan of the Daily Herald and I was embarrassed.
