Believe Project: $100 for woman who lost one of two jobs

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Lori Bougadis of Wheaton.

Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:

"Being the next in line, I ended up overhearing much of the conversation between the cashier and the woman in front of me who was a former co-worker of the cashier.

"Her current job as cashier at Target originally was her second job. During the past year her 22-year-old son had died, she lost her main job and then she had to move out of her home. A very rough patch for her.

"I would like Susan to be a recipient of the $100 Believe Project. I am guessing this money may be helpful for gas, groceries or basic living expenses."

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
