Wolff to drive in F1 practice at Spanish and British GP
LONDON (AP) - Susie Wolff will drive for the Williams team in the first practice sessions at the Formula One races in Spain and Britain this season.
The 32-year-old Wolff, who has been promoted to test driver this season, will also do one day of post-race testing following the Austrian Grand Prix in June.
Wolff also drove for Williams on the first day of the second winter testing session at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit last month.
In addition to her track experience, the British driver will do extensive work in the team's simulator to help the ongoing development of the FW37 car.
Wolff, who is hoping to become the first female racer to compete in a race since Lella Lombardi in 1976, says "I am physically in the best shape I've ever been."
