Schaumburg library hosts financial advice programs
Those facing retirement or preparing for college may benefit from free financial programs coming to the Schaumburg Township District Library's central and branch locations.
"Optimizing Social Security Benefits" will take place from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 6, at the Hanover Park Branch Library, 1266 Irving Park Road in Hanover Park.
Parents and prospective college students are invited to "The Rising Cost of College" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 9, in the Adult Classroom of the Central Library at 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg. Attendees are encouraged to bring their smart device to this interactive presentation.
