See Alice in Wonderland Jr. this weekend in Schaumburg

Travel to Wonderland with the Schaumburg Park District's latest musical theater production.

"Alice in Wonderland Jr." will be performed at 7 p.m., Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14; and 2 p.m., Sunday, March 15, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg.

Alice chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! This fast-paced stage adaption of "Alice in Wonderland" features updated dialogue and new arrangements of classic songs.

"Our actors in this show are fantastic," said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "The performances will be wonderful, the costumes will be beautiful and everyone will enjoy the show."

Tickets are $12; $7 for children age 13 and younger, and free for ages 2 and younger if being held.
