Officials: Fox Lake PNC Bank robbed
A PNC Bank was robbed Tuesday in Fox Lake, according to authorities.
A man entered the bank, 66 E. Grand Ave., about 1:45 p.m. and demanded money, FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said. He implied he had a weapon but didn't show one, Hyde added.
The man fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, she said. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue hooded jacket, white athletic shoes, blue examination gloves and a white medical/surgical mask, Hyde said. The FBI and Fox Lake police are investigating.
The same bank was also robbed in 2013, according to bandittrackerchicago.com.
