Believe Project: $100 for goodie bags for the homeless

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Tony Zaputil of West Chicago.

Here is an excerpt of his pitch:

"Every year, usually after Christmas, my daughter Cristin Zaputil and her friends head downtown to take in a day in the city. They bring with them 20 or more goodie bags for the homeless. They put together these bags that contain everything from toothbrushes to granola bars. This past Christmas year was special because of all her friends are in their first year of college and it has become a reunion of sorts since they do not see each other often anymore. The $100 would allow them to create additional bags to distribute."

• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
