New Wauconda candidate:

A new candidate has entered the race for seats on Wauconda's village board. Dwight "Dale" Thomas replaces a candidate who withdrew from the For Wauconda slate. Thomas is one of six candidates running for three seats with 4-year terms. Additionally, two candidates are running for a seat with a 2-year term. Thomas was named by the slate to replace Carrie Serres on the ballot. She announced she was quitting last week.
