Michael Annett joins HScott Motorsports in 2nd full-time car
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - HScott Motorsports will expand to two full-time Sprint Cup Series cars this season by adding Michael Annett.
Annett joins Justin Allgaier as drivers for second-year Cup owner Harry Scott Jr.
Annett will be funded by his longtime sponsor Pilot Flying J. The car number for his Chevrolet has not yet been determined.
Annett ran the full season a year ago for Tommy Baldwin Racing. He had four top-20 finishes and was a career-best 16th at Talladega.
Scott is slowly building an organization he purchased from James Finch late in 2013. He brought sponsorship from Brandt Professional Agriculture to the No. 51 for Allgaier, who had 10 top-20 finishes.
