Panthers sign former Jaguars WR Brown to reserve/future deal
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - The Panthers announced they've signed wide receiver Mike Brown to a reserve/future contract.
The deal was announced Thursday.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pound Brown spent the last three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and has played in 18 games with eight starts during his career. The former undrafted player from Liberty has 39 catches for 534 yards and two touchdowns since joining the league in 2012.
Brown's best season came in 2013 when he played in 11 games with six starts, catching 32 passes for 446 yards and two TDs.
