Thanks for holiday giving, South Elgin

The South Elgin Food Pantry would like to thank all those who gave food and gifts during the holiday season, particularly: McCloud Services, Harmony Chiropractic, Fox Valley Model Train Club, Willard School (Market Day), Elgin State Bank (food collected at their movie meeting), South Elgin Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Gail Borden Library in Elgin, Jupiter Lane residents, Walgreens on McLean Blvd., CVS on McLean Blvd., and South Elgin Village from the July Fourth parade donations and village collection barrels at village hall.

Thank you also to the many anonymous donations; you know who you are.

The South Elgin Food Pantry has been serving South Elgin since 1994. It is located and supported by South Elgin Community United Methodist Church at 400 W. Spring St.

Those who are food insecure and live in South Elgin can pick up food the first and third Wednesdays of each month between 9:30 a.m. and noon.
