Palatine library announces driver's ed practice help

Palatine Public Library District is announcing a partnership with Driving-Tests.org, a company dedicated to driver safety and education, offering free DMV practice tests to Palatine Library District cardholders.

This new service (http://palatinelibrary.driving-tests.org/illinois/) includes free tests, written specifically based on state DMV materials, and is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools and practice tests based on the real DMV written exams. The site is designed to help teens getting their first license, drivers with disabilities and drivers who need to take a renewal exam.

This partnership allows Palatine library patrons to harness the power of Driving-Test.org's specialized practice exams to help prepare them for their DMV tests and educate them on safety rules of the road.

For information, visit www.palatinelibrary.org/research/automotive, and select Driving Education and Illinois Driver Handbook, or contact staff at the Information Services desk for help with this resource, (847) 358-5881, ext. 167.

The Palatine Public Library District (www.palatinelibrary.org) is your destination for knowledge, entertainment, and community. The library serves approximately 90,000 residents predominantly within the communities of Palatine and Hoffman Estates.
