Sode joins Wauconda police commission

Wauconda resident Jeff Sode has been appointed to the village's police commission, filling a vacancy created when panel member Lou Archbold resigned because he moved out of town.

The village board approved the appointment of Sode on Tuesday. The three-member commission is responsible for hiring police officers and promotions in the department. Sode's term expires in April.
