Rep. Sente holds community dialogue with Vernon Hills residents

Submitted by State Representative Carol Sente

State Representative Carol Sente, D-Vernon Hills, held a Back-To-Springfield Town Hall Meeting Tuesday in Vernon Hills.

"It was wonderful to see so many people from throughout our district coming together to participate in a public dialogue focused on identifying solutions to the complex issues that are affecting our state and community," Sente said.

"I look forward to taking the feedback gathered during our meeting to Springfield this session, as we work to make our state an even greater place to live and work."

Residents from throughout Vernon Hills and neighboring towns attended to learn more about Sente's legislative initiatives from the 98th General Assembly and to hear about her goals for the coming year.

In addition to hearing an update from Sente, attendees were able to ask questions and share their ideas for legislation.

Constituents who were unable to attend Tuesday's event are encouraged to attend Sente's next Coffee Shop Stop from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Starbucks, 1665 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.
