Streamwood police taking applications for citizen's academy

Streamwood residents interested in law enforcement can start applying for the village's citizens police academy Monday, Jan. 5.

Classes will run from 7 to 9 p.m. every Monday for 10 weeks starting March 2.

Students must be at least 21 years old. Applications will be available online at Streamwood.org or at village hall, 301 E. Irving Park Road.
