Believe Project: $100 to daughter, grandkids who lost condo in fire

Today's winners of a $100 bill through the Believe Project are Joseph and Linda Mancini of Rolling Meadows.

Here is an excerpt of their pitch: "Over the summer our daughter and two grandchildren lost their condo in a fire. The condo association and insurance companies can't figure out who pays for what. So they have not done much work on their home. The Red Cross never showed up. They are still out of their home and depressed. If chosen we would like to pay it forward to them."

• The Believe Project will mail a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else. Email us your pitch of 100 words or fewer (include your name, address and hometown) to specialevents@dailyherald.com.
