Bears Bites: Perfectly fowl day

Kind of a perfect ending to a perfectly fowl day … and season, huh?

Harsh, yet realistic:

The Bears ...:

Are the canned cranberries on the plate in the corner of the Thanksgiving table.

Not sure what that means, but it sounds about right.

Lesson learned:

I didn't know that Bears emit tryptophan, too.

Which was ickier?

The final three quarters of the game, or that new Old Spice commercial?

The prediction:

Jeff Joniak will be about 17 percent less growly the rest of the way.

But Bears fans will be about 100 percent more growly in the weeks to come … and rightly so.

But, hey:

The kickoff coverage was pretty good!
