Antioch handles Woodstock North
Jason Mrkonich and Weston Fox each scored 14 points, as Antioch's boys basketball team defeated Woodstock North 68-49 at Woodstock on Wednesday night.
Antioch improved to 2-1 in the tournament.
Marian Central 67, Round Lake 47: At Woodstock, Michael Green scored 25 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, for the Panthers.
Uplift 89, Mundelein 61: At Mundelein, Isaiah Woolford scored 19 points in a losing effort for the host Mustangs.
Mundelein also received 11 points from Austin Blackmer and 10 from Jake Parmley (two 3-pointers).
Maine South 71, Libertyville 59: At Maine South, the Wildcats suffered their first loss of the season.
Maine South led 29-21 at halftime and 48-36 after three quarters.
Lake Forest Academy 56, Warren 43: In their third contest at the Mundelein Thanksgiving Tournament, the offensive struggles continued for Warren as the Blue Devils fell to the Caxys. LFA outscored the Blue Devils 28-14 in the first half and never looked back as they improved to 3-0 in tournament play.
Isaiah Foust led all scorers with 17 points for LFA. Ryan Clamage hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with 14 for the winners.
Sophomore Juwan Perry drained four 3-pointers and led Warren (0-3) with 12 points. Jovan Jokic his three long balls and finished with 11.
