Missing Hoffman Estates girl found in Mount Prospect

A Hoffman Estates girl who was reported missing over the weekend was found uninjured on Sunday night, according to the Cook County Sheriff's office.

Jordan Sumlin, 12, of Hoffman Estates, was reported missing by her parents on Saturday night. Police said she was found at a friend's house in Mount Prospect Sunday night around 11 p.m.

Sumlin had no apparent signs of injuries and has been reunited with her family, according to Sophia Ansari, press secretary for the Cook County Sheriff's office.

Police believe Sumlin ran away from home.
