Mount Prospect library collecting books for needy children

Give the gift of reading this holiday season by bringing new, unwrapped books for local children ages 6 and younger to the Mount Prospect Public Library through Sunday, Dec. 7.

There also will also be a collection box available at the Village of Mount Prospect's Tree Lighting Ceremony and Christkindlmarket on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

Receive $1 off the ticket price of the Mount Prospect Special Events Commission's New Year's Eve celebration for every book collected on that night only.
